Harmful Sexual Behaviour Services

Harmful sexual behaviour services for non-mandated adults provide clinical assessment, intervention, and psychosocial support to reduce the impact that sexual violence has on people and communities across the country.

In Budget 19, MSD received $3.095 million over four years to continue the delivery of harmful sexual behaviour services across the country.

Service Development

In 2017 we consulted with key providers of harmful sexual behaviour services around what good practice harmful sexual behaviour services look like and where some of the current service delivery challenges and gaps are. 

Our findings from the 2017 service development process are summarised in our Service Development Report.

Service Guidelines

The Service Development Report was used to inform the development of service guidelines for the non-mandated adult HSB service.
