Te Korowai Whetū Social Cohesion Measurement

Te Korowai Whetū Social Cohesion measurement framework has been developed as part of Te Korowai Whetū Social Cohesion strategic framework. The measurement framework helps us to understand and measure social cohesion in Aotearoa New Zealand through multiple data survey and administrative data sources already collected. Regularly updating data against the measurement framework provides a broad picture of social cohesion in Aotearoa New Zealand and changes over time.

In 2022 a baseline report of data against Te Korowai Whetū Social Cohesion measurement framework indicators was published.

The second Te Korowai Whetū Social Cohesion monitoring report was produced in 2025, with updated data where available until September 2024.
