This guidance has been prepared to ensure that food rescue services can operate safely within the COVID-19 Protection Framework.
Definition of a food rescue service
An activity where chilled, ambient and frozen food is collected, processed and redistributed to other providers or community organisations.
COVID Vaccination Certificates (CVCs)
It is recommended that you request to view or scan COVID-19 Vaccination Certificates for all visitors to the site.
Staff and volunteer vaccination requirements
We strongly recommend that you only use staff and volunteers that are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Traffic light settings
These guidelines ensure your food rescue service can operate safely under each traffic light setting.
Red
If you are requesting CVCs
