Services are to be provided in accordance with the Heartland Services service guidelines.
Provider quarterly reporting
Provider quarterly reporting from 1 July 2026 onwards
On 1 July 2026, MSD implemented new quarterly reporting for Heartland Services (Heartlands) providers. Providers should use the template and documentation below for collecting and reporting data from 1 July 2026 onwards.
Reporting template
Providers must use the below MSD-provided Reporting Template (an Excel spreadsheet) to submit reporting to MSD:
Supporting documentation and tools
MSD has developed a detailed guide for the new reporting and optional data collection tools to support providers with the new Heartlands quarterly reporting.

Submitting your reporting
Please send your completed quarterly report to:
- MSD National Contracts Admin Hub at National_Contracts_Admin_Hub@msd.govt.nz
- Your current Purchasing Agency Relationship Manager listed in Section 8 of your Outcome Agreement (Contract)
- And the MSD Heartlands team at Heartland_Services@msd.govt.nz
