Finding a community provider

We’ve created an interactive map of Community Connectors and Food Providers around New Zealand to help providers, iwi and communities identify organisations that can support people in self-isolation and afterwards if required. Community Connectors help people connect with different services they might need during or following self-isolation. Food providers specialise in helping people get the food they need during or following isolation.

As part of the Care in the Community welfare response, local community organisations, including iwi and Pacific organisations, are working with the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) to support people who need extra support while self-isolating and afterwards if required. Different providers offer different kinds of help, like food deliveries or support for Māori whānau and Pacific people.

The purpose of this map is to provide a visual guide to find a community provider near you. The map shows provider locations and the services they provide. Please note that the location details listed do not reflect the multiple locations the service is provided in. This map should be used to connect clients to appropriate support to meet their needs during or following self-isolation.
