Longitudinal Study of New Zealand Children and Families: Development Phase

A new longitudinal study of New Zealand children and families is being developed by the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) in partnership with the Health Research Council of New Zealand (HRC). A research team led by the University of Auckland has been contracted to scope the study over the next 18 months.

SPEaR - Social Policy Evaluation and Research Committee

The Social Policy Evaluation and Research (SPEaR) Committee is a cross-agency group established by the New Zealand Government in 2001 to oversee the government's investment in social policy research and evaluation.

Our vision is effective social policy built on sound research and evaluation. The purpose of this site is to provide a portal for the New Zealand social policy research and evaluation sector, highlighting the latest news, upcoming events, funding opportunities and jobs within the sector.
