What is Community Link?

Social services in New Zealand are moving towards a new way of working with and in the community that takes a wider view of people and families in need. 

Community Link is part of this new approach and is a model for the future.

Community Link is where people can get help for a range of needs by a variety of social services and agencies centrally located in one place. These services could range from simple financial assistance through to advocacy, support, education and counselling services. 

Community Link has private meeting rooms available for you to use should you wish to have a personal conversation with a service provider, as well as a community room for use by community groups and agencies.

Community Link is a place where you should only tell your story once because services will work together, and with you, to help you reach your goals.

Because each Community Link is different, you will need to contact your local Community Link for information about services and agencies.
