What is a Limited Service Volunteer?
The Limited Service Volunteer programme is a free six-week motivational training course run by the New Zealand Defence Force. It aims to increase the number of young people entering employment or training by improving their self-discipline, self confidence, motivation and initiative.
Who can do Limited Service Volunteer?
Limited Service Volunteer is for young people aged from 17 to 25 years old. You don’t have to be getting a benefit from Work and Income to go on it.

Limited Service Volunteer courses are expanding from Burnham in Christchurch to Trentham in Wellington and Hobsonville in Auckland.
