Behavioural Insights research for clients with health conditions and disabilities

The Ministry of Social Development wants to improve support and services for people with health conditions and/or disabilities – to get better at helping these clients live well and reach their work goals.

We know getting the right kind of work can help Jobseeker Support clients with health conditions or disabilities build a better future for themselves and their whanau.

From mid June, we’re inviting clients to take part in research to tell us what will make a difference. How can we make it easier for clients to deal with us? How can we improve our support and services?

The research is being run for the Ministry by the Behavioural Insights Team, an independent research agency.

We’ll contact people we have an email address for and invite them to take part. We’ll make it clear taking part is voluntary and all information and results will be anonymous.

The research is with clients who have a disability or health condition, get Jobseeker Support and have part time or deferred work obligations

We will be looking to share learning and themes from the research later this year.

If you have any questions or want more information, please email What_Works_For_Me@msd.govt.nz.
