The Employers' Disability Network Trust

The Employers’ Disability Network Trust supports employers’ understanding of disabled people , helps more people into work and improves services to disabled customers.

The Employers’ Disability Network is designed by employers for employers. The network provides an opportunity for employers to talk about the perceptions of employing disabled people, and develop practical solutions. For example, develop customer service initiatives with disabled people and develop standards for recruitment.

By being employer driven, the Network will be able to develop practices and strategies that support the needs of employers, provide partnership opportunities and promote a culture of inclusion for business and disabled workers.

The Ministry of Social Development supports the establishment of the network by acting as the Board Secrteary and is a founding member of the Trust.
