Statement of Responsibility

As Chief Executive of the Ministry of Social Development, I am responsible for the information contained in this Statement of Intent.

I certify that the information in this Statement of Intent is consistent with existing appropriations, and with the appropriations set out in the Appropriation (2007/2008 Estimates) Bill.

The performance standards for each departmental output expense in the Forecast Output Performance Statements have been agreed with the Vote Minister responsible for the output expense.

The Forecast Financial Performance for 2007/2008 has been agreed with the Minister for Social Development and Employment, as the Minister responsible for the financial performance of the Ministry of Social Development.
