Regional Plans 2008-2009
The Ministry of Social Development’s Regional Plans 2008/2009 sets out each regions work for the coming year. All plans are focused around five priorities:
- Giving children the best start in life
- Helping young people achieve their potential
- Enabling people to live independent lives
- Supporting families and whānau to be safe and resilient
- Strengthening communities.
The priorities and goals of each plan along with collaboration from many external agencies will help make real and tangible differences to the live of individuals, families and communities in all regions across New Zealand.
The plans will be available on the website after the official launch dates noted below.
