Budget fact sheets 2008 - KiwiSaver Financial Education Programme

The Government is investing $7.8 million over the next four years in the Retirement Commissioner’s Financial Education Programme.

This will provide educational material on KiwiSaver and other financial programmes to people who are:

  • new to the workforce
  • changing jobs
  • considering joining KiwiSaver for the first time
  • KiwiSaver members who may be considering their options

It will also fund the production of material on a wide range of financial topics relevant to KiwiSaver, while maintaining existing programmes for employers and new employees.
