Budget fact sheets 2005 - Child, Youth and Family – increases in personnel costs arising from the Holidays Act 2003

The Government is investing $2.2 million in the Department of Child, Youth and Family Services (CYF) over the next four years to address costs associated with changes introduced in the Holidays Act 2003.

The funding addresses new entitlements affecting sick leave, bereavement leave and public holiday provisions.

The funding will ensure that CYF can meet the provisions of the Holidays Act 2003.
